JYB GOALS

The livestock sector is a key part of the global food system and contributes to poverty reduction, food security, and agricultural development. With the world’s population projected to increase to 10 billion by 2050, food quantity will need to double to meet demand, and large part of this will continue to come from animal protein. Increasing the efficiency of livestock supply chains is essential to continue feeding the world while simultaneously limiting future greenhouse gas emissions. The livestock sector currently emits about 12% of all human-induced greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. For this reason, JYB Europe is working to reduce its environmental impact on the livestock sector improving feed efficiencies and animal health.

An important approach to ensuring sustainability within the animal nutrition industry is to optimise feed formulations, maximise nutrient utilisation while minimising waste. Therefore, JYB strives for high product stability and efficiency.
